Bi Light Zip II

Light tandem - zip version

Description

Paralotnia lekka górska Bi Light.Zip II You fly the paragliders and you love hiking the mountains. You are used to climb with a partner. These are often a one-day trips, so you have to choose shorter routes.
The returns in the valleys are not that exciting, but until now there was nothing you could do about it. Of course it was always possible to carry up some mountain wing and fly down the valley, but your companion would have to take a long walk anyway. For a while you have been thinking about taking a tandem wing, but its bulk and weight quickly dismissed your dreams. If only the tandems could be smaller... and parted in two in addition... then you could plan longer climbs and still avoid the despised walking down.

Well, such an incredible tandem exists, and it's called the bi-light.zip - a superlight tandem wing carried in two separate bacpaks/harnesses, and then assembled together with a zip fastener.

The superlight tandem was created as a result of our experiences with the Air Light II, so practically it's the bigger brother of that wing. Carefully chosen materials and thought out design enabled us to reach a weight that will satisfy all climbers. The bi-light.zip has an additional feature enabling you to share the burden with your partner - this wing has a zip fastener in the middle, so that you can split it in two and pack it in two separate bacpaks/harnesses.

The risers are made of French Bainbridge International lines of 4 mm diameter. For the suspension lines we use Dyneema of 1.1, 1.3, 1.5 and 1.9 mm diameters.

The wing is currently being tested.
It will be available at Dudek headquarters or at Dudek.France company (Christophe Gonin "Les Chalettes", 38300 BADINIERES, Francja, tel. +33 (0) 677 11 71 13).
