Tony Gibson once again claimed the title of South Africa PPG Champion, flying a Plasma 26.5. As the current holder of the world speed record should, he was unequalled in speed tasks. Stil, he did great in other tasks too, depite lack of training and stiff competition from guest Czech pilots.

Speed record with Plasma

It is a rare thing, to beat an existing FAI record in such a spectacular way - Tony Gibson improved "Speed over a closed circuit of 100 km without landing" by almost 50%! His mean speed was 77 km/h, while top speed reached 115 km/h. The record attempt itself took place in April 2010 on a Plasma 26,5, and it was ratified by the FAI couple of days ago. Our hearty congratulations!

International online paramotor XContest sees relentless fight this year. Recently an outstanding result was achieved by Mirosław Dyl, who on 13th October flew a FAI triangle over 700 km long. His trike was slung under always reliable Reaction.

Japan Championships

In Japanese Paramotor Championships 2010 the winner was RYOYA IGARASHI  (Plasma PV S), followed by TAKENORI KIMURA  (ReAction S) i YOSUKE TOGASI (ReAction S). Again over half of the competitors were using Dudek Paragliders wings. Thank you and keep up your fighting spirit!

Armin Appel received prestigious FAI prize for 2009. Every year the FAI Microlight Committee (CIMA) awards Ann Welch Diploma for most significant of the apoproved world records. Last year it was Armin Appel, who on 28th September 2009 took his Reaction for a triangle of 343.6 km

Success at French Championships

Despite whimsical weather five tasks were held. Dudek Paragliders were represented by 7 pilots, flying 4 Nucleons, 2 Plasmas and a Reaction. They were strongly present in final results too, as the competition was won by unfailing Pascal Vallee (Plasma 22), with David Muselec (Nucleon 31) coming third and Stéphane Julien (Plasma 26,5) fifth.

Yes, it did happen - for the first time in history a woman became National PPG Champion. Laura Turner on her Nucleon dethroned a nine-time British and current World Champion Michel Carnet. Our Heartiest Congratulations!

A paramotor expedition from North to South Chile, planned for six months, has just started. During 4600 km long trip Julien Barber will be registering condition of the environment, and his data will be used by scientific centers monitoring places exposed to human influence.

Nucleon with DULV certificate

Thanks to efforts of our German dealer, Wojtek Hewig, we've finished painstaking process of certifying three sizes of Nucleon (25, 27, 29) with the DULV. As of now, German pilots can at last legally fly reflex profile wings with full consent of the law. Nucleon is the first ever reflex paraglider that succeded to pass those tests!!
