3000 euro for 400 km on a Synthesis
Tuesday, 08 February 2011
That was the price for winning a 400 km long race 'Guadalquivir 400', which took place on 30th January in Spain. It was pocketed by debuting in competitions Benito Sousa. And it was well earned, as he spent over 10 hours in difficult conditions under a Synthesis powered by Airfer F200 paramotor..Only two out of 22 pilots did reach the goal. The other was Alfonso Redondo on a Plasma and Airfer trike - he made goal despite a forced landing on the route, in completely soaked clothes. Strong wind, rain, much clouds and even a storm put both the pilots and equipment to severe test.
