Oops, he did it again! - another world record by Chris Atkinson
Tuesday, 08 March 2011
The Australian pilot is on offensive with his Plasma 30 LT. Sunday 6th of March he has beaten a world record of straight line distance with limited fuel. He flew 284.43 km, with top speed of 137 km/h (on neutral trim setings).Former record stood at 242.5 km. Chris' flight from Gatton to Glamorgan wasn't easy due to significant turbulence. Nevertheless, according he felt very secure and praised his big Plasma (earlier on he was flying on a Nucleon).
Now Chris has set his sights on some world records with unlimited fuel... good luck!
