Speedriding Polish Cup 2011
Monday, 07 March 2011
The winner of the first Polish Speedriding Cup is... Arkadiusz Sabat! He has beaten 14 other competitors and won the main prize, a ZigZag 12 canopy. Both the organisation and weather proved to be excellent, while competition itself was fierce.
Second place was taken by Jan Grzonkowski and the third by Jerzy Kraus, who bested Leszek Mańkowski barely by 0,02 sec.
Competition was held as a „Speed control slalom”. That is, a 1300 m long slalom course was to be covered as fast as possible, including precisely marked ski-, flight- and freeride zones. Three attempts were allowed, with two best of them scored for the final result.
The differences were minimal:
2. Jan Grzonkowski – 2:13,77
3. Jerzy Kraus – 2:14,72
4. Leszek Mańkowski – 2:14,74
5. Kamil Mańkowski – 2:14,80
6. Wacław Kuzło – 2:17,36
7. Paweł Tomaszewski – 2:18,60
8. Rafał Łuckoś – 2:19,15
9. Łukasz Szewczyk – 2:21,21
10. Przemysław Szukalski – 2:21,83
11. Bartosz Plewa – 2:26,52
12. Michał Kwaśnica – 2:28,53
13. Mariusz Witlański – 2:31,72
14. Karol Marcinkowski – 2:32,79
15. Andrzej Kozik – DNF
