Friendly town welcomed us with temperature of 25'C and a view of about 50 gliders flying from the west take off. Not bad for a start. During the two weeks stay we visited most of the planned sites, and my total flying time increased by 20 hours.
While the tour is the domain of my beloved “better half", flying, continuously hooked me more. Flying this time of year may vary. November is by far the most suited to "fly over furniture” and the training of people picking the first steps in the XC. 90% of the population at take offs were flying students. Mostly there were Poles, Dutch and Germans. A very few locals talking in Spanish.
Thermals gave the first signs of life around 13.00, so breakfast and lunch we ate with a big peace of mind, looking from the terrace before the house on the south-eastern and western take offs sites. When things started to wear after 30 minutes we were at the start. Gravel roads lead to the summit and we had no problem with parking. The only thing to do was spread the wing and fire. Unless you went to the bunch of students waiting to start an eternity. When nothing blew they were waiting until something blows. And when "there was something" this was already "too much". After a few days in Algo we catch the local climate though, where there is no “rush” word in the dictionary of locals and punctuality is something awful and unworthy.

Everybody recognizes flying characteristics of Piotr PPG canopies. Wide choice allows to find something tailored to your needs. Myself I am still flying an old Traper/Action, in perfect shape after 250 hours airtime.
This time I would like to mention the Atak, a free-flying paraglider. Even as it is a non-certified wing, version described on website is a well-established serial product and certainly worth attention.
