Second gold on a Nucleon!

Michel Carnet won gold medal during open championships of Britain on a Nucleon 31. His outstanding result was accompanied by David Muzellec on a Nucleon as well (third place), Tom Keene on a Reaction (fifth) and Laura Turner on a Nucleon (sixth). Over 62% of the canopies taking part in this competition came from Dudek Paragliders!

Nucleon 29 with EN C

29 m2 Nucleon has just passed the certification as an EN C paraglider.
Soon we will have the 25, 27 and 31 certified as well.

Plasma PV super light

Pascal Vallee is currently experimenting with yet another version of light Plasma. Super light this time, made of 36 g/m² cloth as a 28m² canopy.
So far he says he's delighted.

German Cup in Ballenstedt

According to Joerg Maass, on this year's "German Paramotor Trophy" our Nucleon won huge interest. Atfter test flights pilots were delighted with high speed and stability of the wing, coupled with unprecedented agility, stability at low speeds and easy take-off even in no wind.
Another good news for German pilots was the outcome of DULV board meeting - minutes included changes in homologation process of PPG canopies toward specific reflex qualities, typical for Dudek designs.

First gold for Nucleon!

Alfonso Redondo won single-seat trikes category during Spanish PPG Championships, held May 14-17th in Tomelloso.

Synthesis with ALC

Since spring 2009 all Synthesis paragliders are equipped with new risers featuring ALC steering system, TEA (Torque Effect Adjuster), ball-bearing pulleys, and new brake handles with swivels.

Attack of 221 km!

On Sunday Łukasz Chyla launched frontal attack on Hungarian frontier, taking off from Skrzyczne (Polish Beskidy mountains). Battling a thermal crisis and returning for the last 20 km against the wind to avoid another state border, he still managed to cover 221 kms in just under eight hours! A standard production Atak worked flawlessly, and pilot says there is still a lot of potential in this design. Congratulations!

Florida Police PPG !

Palm Bay Police Department decided (as the first police station in USA, and possibly in the world) to start using PPG in their patrol and search duties. They have chosen our Synthesis paragliders, which were duly marked of course.

New records!

Not just the birds were demonstrating increased activity during the first day of spring. Reliable Laura Turner and her Synthesis have beaten three world female speed records on that day, including 50.5 km/h speed over a straight 15/25 km course, 45.1 km/h speed over a closed circuit of 50 km and distance over a closed circuit (64.4 km). In addition, Michel Carnet proved to be not less dependable, achieving with the Nucleon average speed of 51.9 km/h over a closed circuit of 100 km. So far these records are just claims, with their FAI verification pending.

Nucleon tests in Syria

Development of new reflex wing named Nucleon is finished. Concluding tests were carried out in Syria.

Simplified warranty rules

In order to simplify all procedures we decided to gave up compulsory mailing of registration cards back to company. There is no warranty cards either - simply every paraglider recorded as sold is automatically subject to corresponding warranty (1,5 to 3 years).

AeroCasco

For most of newly purchased paragliders an AeroCasco can be obtained, guaranteeing a one-off repair of any mechanical damage (occurring during take-off, flight or landing), irrelevant of their actual cause.

During Winter Ski&Paragliding Competition in Nowy Targ pilots of Polish national PPG team got acquainted with smallest Plasma, developed for their specific needs.

The PLUS expedition

Team of Polish pilots returned from Nepal and Andaman Islands. The tour presented us with great opportunity to try out our new intermediate PLUS.

Innovative design prize

At famous world meeting of PPG pilots and manufacturers which is held every two years in Basse-Ham (France), Piotr Dudek received together with Michael Campbell-Jones an award honouring innovative paraglider design! The prize itself was a metal bush of Daniel Svarovski's company.

Since the prize was a single piece, it was decided that will be exchanged periodically between its holders, being displayed for half of the year at each headquarters.
